Library Interior shots:

Below, Abe Lincoln greets visitors to the Sandpoint Library.  The shots take you on a virtual tour of the building, through the lobby, into the first floor with the information desk and stairway directly ahead of you.  To the right is the circulation desk, to the left is the children's area and the word processing computers, and behind the information desk is the reference area and the Internet computers.  The non-fiction books run along the back half of the main floor with the audio-visual collection to the right of the information desk.

Did you notice the beautiful mural in the children's area?  It was painted by local artist, Diana Schuppel and paid for with funds from the Take-A-Seat auction.  Here are some closeups of parts of the mural:

Now to the upper floor.  The periodical reading area is directly ahead of you when you get off the elevator or climb the stairs.  New fiction books are also ahead of you as you climb the stairs.  To the right is the hallway to the Lifelong Learning Department.  Turn to the right again and you will see the upstairs information desk and the upstairs Internet computers and online catalogs.  On the other side of the mezzanine from the periodicals are the fiction books and across the mezzanine from the Internet computers are the study tables and more fiction.
